Apple Inc. confirmed the schedule of the annual developer conference, World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC 2017) event. Wherein, the tech giant is expected to reveal the most awaited iOS 11 operating system. The iOS 11 is a major OS update to the iPad, iPhone as well as macOS devices.

The WWDC 2017 will transpire at San Jose's McEnery Convention Centre on June 5, and the registration for the event kicks off on Mar. 27, 2017. During the annual developer conference, the tech company usually releases new features in their products such as iPhones and macOS, this is the reason why a number of developers and tech critics are excited to witness the said event. The WWDC event will reportedly welcome 5,000 developers as well as 1,000 engineers, according to Express.

Rumor has it that the iOS 11 update will bring substantial improvements to the Cupertino based tech giant's voice assistant Siri, and allow Apple Pay transfers cash via iMessage, Daily Star reported. Nonetheless, unlike Android, Apple device user will never know when they will be getting the update, as the company's ecosystem treats everyone equally. That means when Apple's latest operating system drops for the iPhone 7 Plus owners, the iPhone SE users will get the patch too. In spite of that, the tech company's current version of the operating system is the iOS 10.13, which rolled out on Jan. 2017 and comes along with new features on the iPad, iPhones and CarPlay.

Meanwhile, aside from iOS 11, other speculations claimed that the Cupertino based tech company might also unleash the latest iPhone models, the iPhone 8 and the iPhone X. Although Apple has yet to reveal any details regarding its latest flagship smartphone, but rumors and speculations about the features of the devices are now mounting up on the internet. The iPhone 8 is rumored to boast a Dual-lens 3D camera, curved glass casing, facial recognition and wireless charging, Daily Mail reported.
