It has been said that Microsoft will introduce the highly anticipated Surface Pro 5 during the MWC 2017, and the release date of the device will follow shortly. Now, recent reports appear to support such speculations, as the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is now on sale and more details on Microsoft's upcoming 2-in-1 device have been leaking out.

The Surface Pro 4 is now cheaper by $200 and the latest discounted deals of the device directly provided by Microsoft, which offers two Surface Pro 4 models. The Surface Pro 4 with Core m3 model that packs a 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory, is now available for $699, down by $200 from the original mark of $899. While the powerful Intel Core i5 variant of the Surface Pro 4 that comes along with an 8GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage space, is now up grabs for only $999, down from the original price tag of $1199, according to WCCF Tech.

As the tech giant has recently lowered the price of Surface Pro 4's m3 series and Intel Core i5, it appears that the company is getting rid of the older models and gearing up to release the Surface Pro 5 in the following days or months.

Nonetheless, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to roll out with a display that supports 4K resolution, according to PC Advisor. The device is also anticipated to pack the Windows 10 Redstone 3 operating system, USB Type-C port and a Thunderbolt 3 port out of the box. Furthermore, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be up for grabs with an upgraded Surface Pen.

In addition to the Surface Pro 5's specs, the Redmond, Washington based tech monster is said to use Intel's latest Kaby Lake processor to power the upcoming hybrid laptop. On the contrary, other speculation claimed that Microsoft will instead utilize Qualcomm's Snapdragon 635.
