‘Grand Theft Auto V Online’: PS4 and Xbox One Map Changes Confirmed; Continued Support Sets Records
ByGame developer Rockstar Games in celebration of Valentine's Day announced special updates and offers for "Grand Theft Auto V" online.
For its "Till Death Do Us Part Adversary" mode, Rockstar Games added two maps located in Legion Square and La Puerta. Additionally, players who play other 2v2 modes in "Grand Theft Auto V Online," receives double GTA$ and RP. The double GTA$ and RP bonuses and the sales and promotions are good until February 27.
Gameplay is described as teams of up to four pairs can play this "Grand Theft Auto V Online" mode wherein each pairing will have a single life between them. If one of the players in a team couple dies, the surviving partner takes their own life in dramatic fashion, Gamespot reported.
In addition to the two maps in "Grand Theft Auto V Online," Rockstar is offering a 25 percent GTA$ bonus for all who operate Biker Business sales and Special Cargo services. Players can also enjoy a 50 percent off on all Assistant Service with some 25 percent of items are themed around Valentine's Day.
Items listed as special items in Be My Valentine Clothing, Albany Roosevelt and Albany Roosevelt Valor, Gusenberg Sweeper, Import/Export Tattoos, Benny's Upgrades, Ocelot Penetrator. Alongside the map and mode update, Rockstar also announced "Grand Theft Auto V Online" listed the schedule for the next Premium race: Feb. 14 - 20: "Duel," Feb. 20 - 27: "Over and Under." Duel is locked for all muscle class vehicles while "Over and Under" is locked for bikes.
A time trial schedule was also revealed by Rockstar for players of "Grand Theft Auto V Online:" Feb. 13 - Feb. 19: "Sawmill," Feb. 20 - Feb. 26 in "Cypress Flats." First launched over three years ago, "Grand Theft Auto V" has proven to be a financial success having sold 75 million copies of the game, IGN reported.
