Team Scorpion is in the midst of a life-threatening situation again when "Scorpion" returns for its 17th episode next week. The chemistry between Walter (Elyes Gabel) and Paige (Katharine McPhee), meanwhile, continues to spark.

Episode 17 titled "Dirty Seeds, Done Dirt Cheap" will showcase the team going on a simple mission to safeguard an essential seed bank. The mission, however, turns out to be something they're not prepared for when Happy (Jadyn Wong), Sylvester (Ari Stidham) and Cabe (Robert Patrick) start having deadly hallucinations based on fear. The rest of the team must figure out a way to save the trio before it becomes too late, SpoilerTV reported.

"Dirty Seeds, Done Dirt Cheap" airs on Monday, Feb. 20 on CBS. You can watch the promo for the episode at the end of this report.

Walter and Paige are slowly regaining their friendship on "Scorpion." The two aren't exactly on the fast track to romance -- much to the chagrin of fans -- but seeing them talking to each other again means that they are working on mending their relationship. It's just a matter of time before they finally admit their romantic feelings.

Walter and Paige take the old romantic trope "opposites attract" to a whole new level, according to CarterMatt There are plenty of pairings in pop culture that jive well together besides having nearly contrasting personalities.

Being on opposite sides of the pole means Walter or Paige can help the other discover something about himself/herself that he/she wasn't aware of before. They can also help each other improve themselves. For instance, Paige teaches Walter how to be more sociable and affectionate.

The series also makes sure that viewers can relate to Walter and Paige on some level. Some fans are as determined as Paige, while others are more like Walter in how they excel in a professional capacity but come up short when it comes to personal connections.

Paige is still in a relationship with Tim (Scott Porter) and she doesn't seem to be the type who will cheat on her boyfriend. However, the two may drift apart and break up, and those great moments between her and Walter may resurface and pave their way towards romance.

A Season 4 renewal for "Scorpion" is highly likely, given that it currently averages at a 1.3 million rating in the 18-49 demographic, according to a separate report from CarterMatt. The show has higher ratings than CBS' other crime dramas such as "Elementary," "Blue Bloods" and "Code Black."
