"Sons of Anarchy" creator, Kurt Sutter, talks FX hit television series. Adding on, he also reveals details about his two other projects, "Mayans" and "First 9".

According to Comicbook, Sutter revealed his future plans about SOA that includes his two other projects that are connected to the latter story. He said "Mayans MC" will be its spin-off while "First 9" will be its prequel story.

In his interview with Tom Arnold's podcast, "100% Honest. Pretty Much," Sutter reveals that he sees the story of SOA taking place in four chapters. These chapters include the former TV show, then the "Mayans MC" story followed by "First 9," which will be purely about John Teller's manuscript and how the motorcycle club started.

For starters, SOA revolves around a motorcycle club more particularly to its lead character, Johnson "Jax" Teller (Charlie Hunnam). "Mayans MC," on the other hand, is the spinoff of SOA that focuses on Mayans Motorcycle Club, a rival turned allies of the group.

Meanwhile, when it comes to "Sons of Anarchy" prequel story, unlike "Mayans MC", that is already under development, "First 9" is yet to have a go signal. However, Sutter mentioned in the past that he is planning and still interested in creating "First 9".

What 'First 9' Will Be All About, According to Kurt Sutter?

As per the aforementioned source, the prequel story will be about the first members of SOA and its founder, John Teller. Sutter reveals that he sees the story in the light of Teller's manuscript.

"...what I would do is, not directly, but I would use that as a potential launching point to do the prequel," says Sutter.

Adding on, he also visualizes the series to have 10 episodes. "-it's not a series. And whether we do that in between seasons on Mayans I'm not sure, but that would sort of happen tangentially to that."
