"Pokemon Go" Valentine's Day event gives a lot of perks for the gamers. Niantic has released the list of giveaways that a trainer could get. Here is what we know so far.
According to reports, Niantic and The Pokemon Company started its one-week celebration of "Pokemon Go" Valentine's Day. The big event includes special treats for the trainers. Pokemon's official blog has released an official announcement for all the gamers.
'Pokemon Go' Valentine's Day Perks
Based on the official blog post of the company, the "Pokemon Go" Valentine's Day does not only includes a lot of candy and pink Pokemon. Here is the list of the perks a trainer could get during the big event:
Throughout the "Pokemon Go" Valentine's Day celebration, buddies will spot Candy twice as fast for their trainers. Adding on, players can earn a double amount of candy when they hatch the eggs. Not to mention, they can also achieve this by catching or transferring Pokemon characters.
Moreover, pink Pokemon will be all over the places during the "Pokemon Go" Valentine's Day event. This means trainers have a higher chance of catching pink Pokemon like Clefable and Chansey.
Other than these two Pokemon characters in "Pokemon Go" Valentine's Day event, Igglybuff, Smoochum, and Cleffa "will also be more likely to hatch from Eggs." Business Insider also added Porygon and Clefairy.
In addition to this, during the "Pokemon Go" Valentine's Day, the game developers decided to giveaway Lure Models for a longer time.
"And to help you paint your town pink this Valentine's Day, Lure Modules will last for six hours for the entire duration of the event," the "Pokemon Go" Valentine's Day blog says.

"Pokemon Go" Valentine's Day is a limited event only. It is a one-week celebration. The big day started last Feb. 8, 11:00 AM PST and will end on Feb. 15. 11:00 AM PST.
