A Reddit post originally came from a Weibo account user reportedly leaks the HTC 11 specs. However, recent news claim that the released details about the phone are fake. Here is what we know so far about the issue.
According to reports, HTC has been releasing new models. The company launched their HTC 10 last year while earlier this year they release their HTC U Ultra. It is said that these two phones failed to charm the consumers big time in spite of good reviews. Now, the current trend promises another new phone unit, the HTC 11.
Though nothing has been confirmed until now, HTC 11 rumored specifications started getting a lot more attention than the two previous HTC units. Here are the details below:
HTC 11 Leak Specs, Release Date, And Other Details
According to CNET, a screenshot of the "About Phone" section of the alleged HTC 11 reveals that the mobile is powered by Snapdragon 385 SoC. Adding on, it also has a 6GB RAM with the latest android version, Android Nougat 7.1.2.
Furthermore, HTC 11 also includes a 128GB of storage, 2,550x1,556-pixel resolution display and a quad high-def (QHD) resolution is 2,560x1,440. The phone also has the brand's Sense 9.0 software layer on top.
As for the comparison with other devices, the site somewhat compares HTC 11 to the newest Samsung Galaxy S8. If these details are true, the phone will come next to Samsung in terms of having Qualcomm's newest silicon product.
Meanwhile, as per the aforementioned source, HTC 11 might slate its release after Samsung Galaxy S8 launch which is likely to be in mid-April.
HTC 11 Leak Details, Fake or Not?
A lot of tech websites claimed that the phone has an odd ratio. In addition, Techradar also pointed out the new phone's name, HTC 11.
As per the site's article, the company had strongly suggested that their next release will not be under that name. This alone makes it more unusual for the gadget geeks to believe that the leak is indeed true.
However, since HTC are yet to comment about the HTC 11 leaked specifications, we cannot claim that the "About Phone" screenshot is fake or not.
