Moto Z Price Cut and Android 7.0 Nougat Update

Moto Z was introduced to the market with a price tag that costs $699.99 but Motorola offers the said handset to the public with a mark down on its original price. According to Android Police, the unlocked Moto Z version now costs $449.99 that makes $250 discount from the original price alongside with many freebies.

Accordingly, Moto Z freebies include $25 B&H e-gift card (official retailer), VR headset, Smartphone Photo Bundle with 32GB SanDisk MicroSD card Class 10, smartphone stand, mobile LED light, microfiber cleaning cloth and a tripod. However, the promo has already ended last February 6, 2017.

On the other hand, Moto Z unlocked versions are reportedly started receiving Android 7.0 Nougat update in March 2017 though there are other who have started receiving OTA updates recently and proven through screen shots. The update has a size of 1121.1 MB that will bring features such as Unicode 9.0 emoji, mult-window feature for multi-tasking and power saving mechanism called Doze, Phone Arena reported.

Is Moto G5 Really Coming Soon?

The reported Moto Z discount is said to be an indication of Moto G5 imminent launching based on tech firm's tradition. For this reason, Motorola is reportedly launching the Moto G4 successor during the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, Spain.

Highlights of Moto G5 smartphone includes an LCD display with 1080 pixels screen resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB on-board storage, 2800 mAh battery. On the other hand, Moto G5 Plus is said to be more powerful which will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core CPU, 4GB of RAM and 3080 mAh battery.
