Another Story in the Land of Westeros is Coming Soon
Fans of the most anticipated sequel of the novel "A Song of Ice and Fire" are thrilled when they learned about the book from George R.R. Martin that's coming out this year that they began speculating that it could be "The Winds of Winter". However, according to Geeks, it's not the long awaited book but another story that happened in the land of Westeros.
Accordingly, this book is entitled "Sons of Dragon" which tells the story of Aenys I and Maegor the Cruel, the sceond and third kings of Targaryen. The story chronicles about the short reign of Aenys because he died under uncontrollable circumstances and was immediately replaced by his half-brother who is known for being irresponsible anf not trustworthy.
Martin said that it's not his intention to come up with another story and that is supposed to be a historical sidebar to "The World of Ice and Fire". However, he notices that it has 350,000 wordcount when it should be 50,000 only; thus, he decided to published it as another story in the land of Westeros.

As like what George R.R. Martin said, he had made some progress to the book and looks forward to publish it within this year. For this reason, fans have started to ignite the excitement for the release of "The Winds of Winter" because according to them "A Song of Ice and Fire" is much better than "Game of Thrones", The Wrap reported.
Meanwhile, to calm the restlessness from the fans, Martins have reveal few synopsis from "The Winds of Winter". According to him, he rather have a polished product than published a rushed one; thus, claiming his rights as an author to take his time to complete the sixth book.
