Surface Pro 5 Update, Release Date and More

Aside from the excellent deals, this could also be a good indication that the next-gen Surface Pro is slated to debut soon. Rumor mills suggest that the hybrid device will be using Intel Kaby Lake chipset - which is one of the speculated reasons behind its delay.

The 2-in-1 Surface Pro 5 will also be sporting 4K and 2K display. The 4K in particular, is a huge step-up from the previous ones but potential buyers might need to spend more cash to obtain one. On top of that, the fans are waiting for Microsoft to launch its all-new and rechargeable Surface Pen.

It is obvious that Surface Pro 5 will run on Windows 10's latest version. PC Advisor has noted that Microsoft could be switching to Qualcomm's Snapdragon processor instead of ARM. There was an issue in Surface Pro 4 battery and if the next iteration will come with such ultimate specs, how would the battery perform?

Thanks to Kaby Lake as it will bring a lot of advantages to the Surface Pro 5. Aside from better performance, the seventh core from Intel will also be making a difference in battery life. Reports suggest the possible launch date for Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is in March 2017.
