Based on the gathered leaks and information, there will be three iPad Pro devices coming this year - with a much improved technology.
Three variants of iPad Pro 2 expected
12.9-inch display
The iPad tablet with the biggest display will reportedly sport a powerful A10X chip along with upgraded navigation system for smoother experience.
10.5-inch display
Ming-Chi Kuo believes that the variant will pack the same processor as its bigger sibling. If Kuo's analysis will come to fruition, the 10.5-inch iPad Pro will be a variant never before seen and it will supposedly dominate the educational and business sectors.
9.7-inch display
Apple may still feel the need to cater budget-minded faithful that it is said to launch the 9.7-inch tablet along with the other two more-premium devices. The smallest variant will be set as a low-cost iPad, rocking A9X chipset under its hood.
Along with the new three models, Apple will introduce an upgraded Apple Pencil and new tablet design without physical home button. The iPad Pro tablets will be a lot thinner and almost bezel-less.
Apple Pencil is one of the promising technology that can add value to the iPad Pro 2. It will somehow be a benchmark on how a stylus should be. And it will most likely be facing a fierce competition against Samsung S Pen or Microsoft's Surface Pen.
The new iPad tablets are expected to boast faster processor that could have an on par performance with PC, Guardian reported.
iPad Pro concept design video
Previously, a video of concept design for the upcoming iPad has gone viral. The tablet seems to sport dual rear-camera of 12 MP unit with 4K capability.
It almost looks like an iPhone 7 in a bigger size. However, this isn't a leak and whatever it's said to flaunt in the video, it should remain to be confirmed.
What Tim Cook had to say
During the quarter earnings, Tim Cook claimed that the company has something exciting to look forward to on iPad, MacRumors reported. This should indicate a few things: an upgrade in the hardware, a major design change, or a new set of features.
The fans can expect a March release date for the three iPad Pro tablets.
