Features an Edge Display
To make the device more unique, Samsung is expected to release Galaxy S3 with an edge display instead of using flat displays. According to SlashGear, specifications of the display could be 9.6-inch AMOLED screen with 2048 x 1536 pixels for the resolution and an aspect ratio of 4:3.
Equip with High-Performing Under the Hood Specs
With Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 for the processor, Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is said to have faster performance and efficient user interface. The latest mobile chipset is said to come with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
Sports Excellent Camera, Connectivity Functionalities and Latest OS
The back-facing camera of Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will sport a 12MP while the front-facing camera comes with 5MP. The device also offers connectivity functionalities such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB-C and it is expected to run Android 7.1 Nougat.
Sports Thinner Body than Predecessors
In 2015, Samsung released the 9.7-inch Galaxy Tab S2 with the following dimensions: 9.3 x 6.6 x 0.22 inches. Although it was thinner than the iPad (9.4 x 6.6. x 0.24 inches), the 2017 iteration of Galaxy Tab S is said to be thinner than Galaxy Tab S2 according to Laptop Mag.
Comes in Higher Price
With all the above-mentioned specs, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 that is reportedly launching during Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, Spain is expected to come with higher price tag compared to Galaxy Tab S2 which costs $499 for basic 32GB model. Since the 2017 model of the device is reportedly featuring an AMOLED screen and high-performing under the hood specs, price is expected to go beyond $500.
