There isn't any record-breaking in the hardware yet but Samsung already has plans to make its Chromebook Pro and Plus, outshine the rest.

Hybrid laptop for everyone

iPad Pro and Surface Pro are premium devices and most professionals like designers and businessmen use the tablets for much about work or play. There isn't a lot of choices but the CES 2017 has proven that Samsung Chromebook Pro and Plus could pack both - the power and beauty - plus it is convertible.

Samsung ups the game to meet professional demands by setting the Chromebooks in a place, much higher than entry level. The Chromebook pair has that sleek all-metal body unlike the plastic tablets over-crowding the market today.

For instance, the Plus model equipped with ARM-based chip, is a reminiscent of Surface Pro in term of functionality. A nice, super-thin, sleek hybrid tablet that's got a hinge to let user fold the screen 360 degrees and transform the laptop into a tablet.

There's 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage with 8-hour battery life that features life extender, according to 9to5Google. The crisp display and versatility are combined with Android Apps compatibility.

Device for education

Samsung Chromebook Pro groundbreaking feature would be the stylus support. It allows any student to work faster on the high resolution screen as it comes equipped with pressure-sensitive technology, Tech Crunch reported. It is paired with Google Keep to make sure everything is noted.

With Samsung entering educational sector, the South Korean giant head starts the competition since Apple's 10.5-inch iPad Pro 2 is nowhere to be seen.

Price

When it comes to performance, Microsoft brings better things to the table with Surface Pro. However, Chromebook Plus has an affordability benefit that could capture wider audience. Samsung new Chromebooks could easily be a solid choice rather than just an alternative to Surface Pro or iPad device.

The Chromebook Pro will sell for $449 starting February.
