Samsung has yet to release any updates regarding the release date of its Galaxy Note 8. Nonetheless, tech critics claimed that the Galaxy Note 8 with iris scanning and many innovative features will roll out later this year.

The Samsung Galaxy Note series fans are waiting for Samsung's official announcement on when the latest phablet will roll out. At the moment, the South Korean tech giant has yet to pitch in new updates. Speaking with CNET, Samsung Electronics executive DJ Koh, revealed that there is indeed an upcoming Galaxy Note 8 that will replace Note 7.

The Samsung Electronics executive hopes of rebuilding the reputation of the tech company in the global market. Koh stated that the Galaxy Note 8 will be safer, better and very innovative than the Galaxy Note 7. Koh also said that they found out through the investigative process that there are lots of loyal Note customers.

Nonetheless, rumored specs of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 are mounting up on the internet. The Galaxy Note 8 is expected to have several innovative features such as iris and fingerprint scanning, according to GSM Arena.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is also said to be packed with an accelerometer, compass, barometer, gyro, proximity, SpO2 and heart rate. Aside that the Galaxy Note 8 will have the Note 7's stylus, the handset is expected to have a screen size of 5.7 inches with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, as well as a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Other Galaxy Note 8's speculated features include a 6GB of RAM and a 128GB of internal storage.

The Galaxy Note 8 is reportedly packing a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP front facing camera. There are rumors that the rear camera of the Note 8 may be a more powerful 30MP. Meanwhile, there are speculations that Galaxy Note 8 will come along with a digital assistant.
