‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ Release Date, News: RDR2 Game Reportedly Launches This Week, Rockstar Sends Out Pre-Order Cards To Retailers [VIDEO]
ByNew details about the upcoming action-adventure video game "Red Dead Redemption 2" have been hard to come by ever since the open world western game was first confirmed in October 2016. Now, fans of the video game series could find out the PS4 and Xbox One release date later this week, as the video game company rolls out pre-order cards to retailers.
A Redditor named droptheverse hit on his Reddit account and shared a new image supposedly showing a "Red Dead Redemption 2" pre-order card. The Redditor also noted that the pre-order cards of the upcoming game are apparently set to be available on Feb. 5. The Feb. 5 also happens to be the same day as the 51st annual championship game of the National Football League (NFL), Super Bowl 51.
Nonetheless, the release date of Rockstar Games' upcoming open world western action-adventure game is currently slated for an autumn 2017. Although a number of retailer leaks have narrowed the video game's release date down in October, it's possible that the video game's Super Bowl trailer will be used to reveal the "Red Dead Redemption 2" release date, or it could be used to announce that pre-orders of the game are live, according to Express.
In spite of that, the "Red Dead Redemption 2" video game is the newest offering of Rockstar Games, which was developed by Rockstar Studios for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The soon to be released video game is a sequel to the third entry in the Red Dead series, 2010's "Red Dead Redemption," Video Games Republic reported.
Two days after the initial announcement of "Red Dead Redemption 2," the video game company used their own website as well as various social media sites to release two teaser images in the video game's color and theme.
