The highly anticipated Nokia P1 Android smartphone is set to roll out at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017. The Nokia P1 smartphone is the latest handset from the Finnish tech company Nokia. The tech giant is back to smartphone production in collaboration with the smartphone manufacturer, Foxconn.

The Nokia P1 Android smartphone is said to come along with a 5.3-inch display coupled with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The upcoming Nokia handset is rumored to have either a Quad High-Definition or a Full High-Definition screen resolution, according to Gadgets 360.

The Nokia P1 will be packed with the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box. The Nokia P1 Android smartphone could come with a 6GB of RAM, as well as a 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The Nokia P1 smartphone may be powered with a 3500mAh battery, with support for quick charging and a fingerprint scanner, MobiPicker reported.

The Nokia P1 smartphone will also come along with a Kryo 280 octa-core central processing unit and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. This could mean that the Nokia P1 smartphone sports four efficiency cores clocked at a speed of 1.9 GHz and four performance cores clocked at a speed of 2.45 GHz.

The Nokia P1 is said to be a waterproof and a dust resistant device. According to the Russian website Worket, Nokia's upcoming handset would be based on the Sharp Aquos Xx3, the smartphone which was unleashed in Japan nearly six months ago.

That being said, Nokia reportedly has six to seven handsets in the pipeline, wherein, the Nokia P1 smartphone may well be the company's flagship. With the smartphone boasting top-notch specs and features, the Nokia P1 Android smartphone is expected to be a power-packed performer at the MWC 2017 event. The Nokia P1 is the powerhouse device that tech fans wanted from Nokia.
