Samsung rollouts January security patch to Galaxy A5 2016 edition. The handset is confirmed getting the OTA update as firmware XXS3BQA6 arrives, according to GSM Arena.

Galaxy A5 2016 comes with Android Lollipop pre-installed but the recent information suggests that it will likely receive a Nougat update this month after a few devices reportedly tested last year.

The security patch distributed by Vodafone in Europe has fixed 67 common vulnerabilities, according to Sammobile. The rollout has also included 28 patches for other Samsung devices.
