Director Zack Snyder recently talked about Superman's role in his upcoming movie "Justice League." He revealed that despite being absent from trailers, Superman has a big role in the film.

According to Polygon, Superman got killed by Doomsday in the "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" film but Snyder hinted that there is a good chance he will be resurrected in "Justice League." He did not go into details as to how Superman will be brought back into life though. Cavill did hinted at himself donning the black Superman suit which is a throwback to an old comics where Superman got killed but got resurrected.

A new image of "Justice League" appeared online and it is a screenshot of the movie feature by Empire Magazine. The group shows Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Batman and The Flash preparing to do battle at an unknown location, Collider reported. The photo is once again missing Superman so they are doing a good job in keeping Superman's role in the movie a secret so fans will have to wait for the movie's release to find out.

The photo looks like it was taken from the trailer but it is from a different angle. "Justice League" will see the heroes face off against Steppenwolf and Parademons even though the only time they appeared in was a deleted scene in "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice." It is also not yet know what type of agenda the villains will unleash unto our heroes, according to Comic Book.

"Justice League" opens in theaters on Nov. 17. The movie stars Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Ezra Miller as The Flash and Jason Momoa as Aquaman.
