Fans and avid gamers alike are well aware of the impact of Twitch on the gaming industry as it contributes heavily to the development of livestreaming of video games. That being said, the company, which was launched back in 2011, has held its own convention starting in 2015. As such, fans can attend the upcoming TwitchCon 2017 and even book the necessary accommodations during their stay there. Moreover, it was also announced that unlike in last year's convention, the venue has now been moved to a different place altogether, according to sources.

It was recently reported that TwitchCon 2017, the third annual event for the livestreaming community, will be held on Oct. 20-22, Polygon noted. Along with this announcement came details that were also provided to fans, who are thinking of attending the event, that they can now book cheaper hotels during their stay in the event.

The source pointed out that these same fans can head on over to the official website of TwitchCon 2017 to check out the hotel rooms that they can secure at a discounted rate. However, it was also mentioned that Twitch has not yet officially released any details regarding the tickets. Hence, fans ought to know that the ticket sales are not yet live as of date. The company was said to provide fans with the necessary info at a later date.

Moreover, fans can expect the TwitchCon 2017 to be held at a different venue, more specifically at Long Beach, CA, iDigital Times reported. It was stated therein that moving to Long Beach would potentially give attendees more travel options, keeping in mind those who would have to fly in from outside the state.

Also, changing location to Long Beach for TwitchCon 2017 will also allow fans to have more choices of entertainment, food, and lodging. The company also boasted the fact that fans can check out more than 150 restaurants to be found within a ten block radius of the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center.
