Siri and the more recent Alexa made it possible for people to be familiar and be provided with the convenience of having an AI-powered personal assistant, but in reality, a few still make use of their capabilities that can save time. However, Siri and Alexa are not the only AI assistants available and limited to Apple and Amazon respectively. Try out any of the ones below that are available for Android.

Cortana

Windows 10 users are more likely familiar with Cortana. The AI, once reserved for Windows Phones, is now available for Android devices. Microsoft's Cortana was recently seen at the CES 2017, citing the AI will be incorporated into BMW and Nissan cars.

Ozlo

The AI uses a chat bot interface to perform tasks. Though the AI can suggest a dozen of things the user can choose, the interface does require manual input instead of using a voice interface. Though it can do most what other AI can perform, it has limitations as it cannot send messages or manage schedules.

Hound

SoundHound's Hound personal assistant operates much the same way as Google's. It can send messages and make calls, do searches, and navigate using GPS. The AI can also order an Uber as well as find and book hotels and more.

Dragon Mobile Assistant

The AI by Nuance is best known for its voice and text abilities. It is quite sophisticated enough to rival Cortana and Hound. Additionally, it can submit Facebook posts and send Tweets for its user. It can also learn its user's "voiceprint," making it comply only with its owner's voice.

Jarvis

Jarvis has access to its user's phone functions, speeding up tasks such as firing up Chrome or play music and transmit the same over Bluetooth. Unlike other AI, Jarvis can link reminders specific to a particular contact. It is said that the AI is quite "witty," according to Slash Gear. Jarvis is not to be confused with Mark Zuckerberg's currently being developed Jarvis, with Morgan Freeman's voice.

BONUS: Samsung's Bixby - is Samsung's AI entry said to be introduced in Samsung Galaxy S8. Initially called Viv named after Viv Labs Inc., which Samsung recently acquired. Dag Kittlaus, Siri co-creator, previously operated Viv Labs. "Bixby" is touted to be Samsung's replacement to S Voice and an answer to Apple's Siri. Accordingly, the AI usage will be extended to home appliances and wearable technology, according to Reuters.
