Galaxy Tab S3 is Samsung's upcoming flagship tablet set for 2017 release according to reports. Find out more!
- Minor adjustments
Based on the leaks and rumors that have gone viral over the past few months, it can be argued that most of the information has pointed at insignificant changes that will happen to Galaxy Tab S3.
For instance, Samsung could be equipping Galaxy Tab S3 with the same camera pairing like its predecessor, 8MP and 2.1 MP shooters. The battery capacity might receive a gain, from 4000 mAh to 5870 mAh, according to SmartStockNews
In term of Android OS, Tab S3 may come with Android Nougat pre-installed although there are a few reports that claimed the tablet might run Android Marshmallow instead.
There won't be any considerable change in design but Samsung could make Galaxy Tab S3 thinner than its older sibling. There is also a possibility that Samsung will equip its front panel with curved-edge display as the South Korean giant might need to heavily invest on an innovative design like how Galaxy S series is seen from time to time.
- WiFi and LTE models
Previously, Sammobile reported that there will be two Galaxy Tab S3 model launched in early 2017. The LTE and Wifi variants' model number were leaked but without any further details on the specifications.
- Two display variants
Galaxy Tab S3 will likely pack 4GB of RAM under its AMOLED display. Galaxy Tab S2 comes with two display variants, and it is possible that the next iteration might as well arrive with 8-inch and 9.7-inch displays.
- Waterproof
When Samsung introduced Galaxy A 2017 series, the crowds were surprised to find out that the smartphones are waterproof. None of the previous Galaxy A series have been sporting such feature. Hence, it is safe to assume that the Galaxy Tab S3 might also be the first to get a waterproof chassis.
- A change in processor
Galaxy Tab S3 is powered by an Exynos chipset and many reports suggest that Samsung could be shifting to Qualcomm's Snapdragon 652 for Galaxy Tab S3. The chipset is reportedly suitable for the tablet as it supports Adreno 510 GPU for great quality graphics, according to Trusted Reviews.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to be unveiled at CES 2017.
