The episode 73 of "Dragon Ball Super" is slated to fire up this coming weekend, and the episode reportedly will focus on Gohan. The upcoming DBS episode is entitled Gohan Gets Made Into a Film.

The synopsis for the "Dragon Ball Super" episode 73 reveals that Gohan will be a stuntman for dangerous scenes in a film that will star Barry Kaan as The Great Saiyaman. The forthcoming episode of "Dragon Ball Super" is said to see Goku's son indulge into a dangerous fight.

The "Dragon Ball Super" episode 73 is believed to be a filler, before the anime TV series shifts to a new arc. The new arc of "Dragon Ball Super" is dubbed as The Universal Survival Arc.

The new arc is said to feature a brand-new tournament that consists with characters from the different Dragon Ball universes. Gohan is anticipated to be part of the team that will represent Universe 7, Gohan's group comprises of heroes that include his father Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta, Buu, Android 17, Android 18, Master Roshi, Krillin and Tien, Attack Of The Fanboy reported.

The new tournament in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 73 is expected to be epic in terms of the fights that will be experienced in the whole DBS history. The episode 73, which is said to be a filler episode of the anime series, will feature more humor than the previous episodes. It is also believed that the first Earthling-Saiyan hybrid (Gohan) will no longer go through training before the inter-universe tournament takes place, according to Inverse.

Meanwhile, "Dragon Ball Super" episodes 74, 75, and 76 are expected to unleash more details regarding the tournament. "Dragon Ball Super" episode 74 is slated to air on Jan. 15.

The DBS episode 73 is scheduled to hit TV screens on Jan. 8, and the current storyline reportedly will end at episode 76.
