Following the defeat of the Black Claw Forces in Season 5, "Grimm" Season 6 will feature Nick (David Giuntoli) facing a new but familiar threat, Capt. Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz) who is now the mayor-elect of Portland city. Renard will use his influence to impose his own style of law and order, which Nick and the Portland heroes will try to fight and maintain peace in the city.
"Grimm" Season 6 will also feature family struggles as Nick will do everything in his power to keep his child with Adalind (Claire Coffee) safe from Renard's threats. Meanwhile, Rosalee (Bree Turner) and Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) will be having a new baby and facing their worst fears of raising a child in a chaotic world, according to Den of Geek.

"Grimm" Season 6 final run will have fewer episodes, just 13 as compared to the last five seasons' 22 episodes. Showrunners James Kouf and David Greenwalt promised that the last three episodes will be like "one giant movie," a fitting end, according to TV Line.
