Sony Xperia XZ 2017 Latest News: Blurry Image Of Sony Xperia XZ 2017 Recently Leaked Online [VIDEO]
ByAs Sony is working on new devices to unleash in 2017, one of those devices could be particularly exciting. The Japanese tech giant could launch an edge-less handset in 2017, presumably dubbed as the Xperia XZ 2017.
A very blurry photo recently leaked online, purportedly showing the next-generation flagship of Sony, which is expected to roll out as the Xperia XZ 2017. If the image turns out to be accurate, the Xperia XZ 2017 smartphone could have a dramatically different design along with the extra screen real estate, according to Slash Leaks.
The blurry image shows virtually no side bezels, although the top and bottom edges of the device are still quite sizeable. The photo shows only the front of the Xperia XZ 2017 smartphone, revealing the position of the front camera, proximity sensor and the speaker.
It appears that Sony's upcoming flagship will be available without a physical Home button, which indicates that the fingerprint scanner of the smartphone could either be mounted on the back or embedded underneath the handset's display.
The leaked photo of Sony Xperia XZ 2017 offers no hint as to whether the smartphone will have a headphone jack. Sony Xperia XZ 2017 seems to blend in the growing trend of ditching the port in the latest flagships. Wherein Apple Inc. started it with their iPhone 7 and got mixed reactions from tech fans, but more devices without headphone jacks are nonetheless expected to hit the market in the future.
Nevertheless, Sony is not expected to introduce the Xperia XZ 2017 smartphone in early January at CES trade fair. The first wave of Android smartphones of Sony usually rolls out in February, just before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) starts, Phone Arena reported.
That being the case, the Sony Xperia XZ 2017 could make its debut in the Q1 of 2017.
