Sony Xperia X Performance And Xperia XZ Latest Android Nougat Update Adds December Security Patches [VIDEO]
BySony rolled out the Android Nougat for the Xperia XZ and the Xperia X Performance. Now, the company has yet again unleashed a new update for the two devices. The new firmware update comes along with the latest December Security patch to these handsets.
Both the Xperia X Performance and the Xperia XZ are getting a new update with a build number from 39.2.A.0.237 to 39.2.A.0.361. The update also brings the Sony smartphones to the December security bulletin from Google. One of the specific features of Android Nougat is the multi-window support.
Currently, the update is rolling out in some European and Latin America markets. The update only arrives to single SIM versions of the Xperia XZ and Xperia X Performance, according to Xperia Blog.
In terms of the specs of the smartphones, the Xperia X Performance is available with a 5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. The Xperia X Performance is packed with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, that can be expanded through a microSD card. The Sony Xperia X Performance packs a 23 MP primary camera and a 13 MP front shooter.
The Xperia X Performance is powered by a non-removable 2700mAh battery. This smartphone is a single SIM that accepts a Nano-SIM.
Meanwhile, the Sony Xperia XZ smartphone comes with a 5.20-inch touchscreen display along with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. The Sony Xperia XZ is powered by 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and packs a 3GB of RAM. The smartphone has a 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded through a microSD card, Irish Examiner reported.
The Sony Xperia XZ also comes along with 23 MP primary camera and a 13 MP front shooter. The smartphone is powered by a non-removable 2900mAh battery and is a dual SIM smartphone that accepts two Nano-SIMs.
