Trying to cater wide segment of users, Asus launched Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE - a budget flagship with impressive imaging software

Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE Launched in India

Asus announced Tuesday that its newest Zenfone flagship, Zenfone Go, finally reached India. The affordable device is now available at major retail stores in the country, IndianExpress reported.

Asus designs Zenfone Go elegantly with a nice metal body and ergonomic nature. It's quite hard to tell whether someone is holding it or a more premium model instead.

Zenfone Go packs 4.5-inch FWVGA display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android Marshmallow with ZenUI 2.0 custom skin. It has 1 GB of RAM on board - a space considered small but still acceptable for its segment.

Asus equips Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE with 8 MP and 2 MP snappers, plus a removable 2,070 mAh battery.

The Pixel Master in Zenfone Go's Camera

Asus adopts a different technology approach for the smartphone. The camera is one of the selling points as it uses Pixel Master software for high quality imaging, Hardwarezone reported.

The technology that Asus has developed allows Zenfone Go's camera to capture decently in low light condition. Hence, it does not matter if the device is placed at entry level as the high-specced camera ensures great image and video quality.

Based on the internal specifications, this may not be the best flagship that ASUS has released but given the design and pricing, the device is noteworthy.

Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE Price

The arc is sold at ₹6999 or around $103. Zenfone Go 4.5 is available in Silver Blue, Gold, Silver 'hairline' finish and Glamour Red matte.
