Best Buy may have a great deal for tech fans who are looking to upgrade their smartphone. Verizon's Moto Z Droid Edition is up for grabs for just $5 a month for 24 months, which means a person will pay less than $120 for the total cost of the smartphone over two years.

That's a huge price cut off for smartphone lovers, considering the fact that the Verizon wireless company is currently selling the Moto Z Droid on its site for $10 a month for 24 months, which itself is a huge discount from its normal $26 a month. Nevertheless, those who will acquire the Moto Z Droid will have to stick with the smartphone on Verizon's network for two years. The Moto Z Droid deal is available online, or at the local Best Buy store, according to Android Authority.

The features of the world's thinnest premium smartphone, Moto Z Droid, includes a 5.5-inch AMOLED display along with a Quad HD resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with a clock speed of 2.2GHz. Moto Z Droid is also packed with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage, a 2,600mAh battery, a fingerprint sensor, a 5MP front-facing camera and a 13MP rear camera.

Motorola recently rolled out the Android 7.0 Nougat to the Moto Z Droid in the U.S., which means the Moto Z Droid user will be able to take advantage of the custom quick settings, Doze on the Go, multi-window, bundled notifications and much more. Now, the Android 7.0 Nougat update has made its way to Moto Z smartphone users in India.

The Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Moto Z makes the smartphone compatible with Google's mobile VR platform, the Daydream. Moto Z users have started receiving notification for the new software update, which upgrades their handsets to version NPL25.85-15, Indian Express reported.
