It was recently reported that the renowned strategy game "Civilization VI" has received a huge 2016 Winter update for the PC that introduces more fixes and features to the game, Gamespot learned. It was stated therein that the video game's developer, Firaxis Games, have shared the details of the new patch.

The 2016 Winter update for "Civilization VI" was said to include a new standard size Earth map, a more convenient way of accessing Scenarios from the main menus, and new gameplay move for the enemy units that's called "alert."

The source pointed out that the "alert" move brought by the new 2016 Winter update for "civilization VI" was said to be similar to that of "XCOM: Enemy Unkown's" "overwatch" command. The action would allow friendly units to be put to sleep and dormant until an enemy is spotted.
