Fans of third-person shooter video games were treated with yet another addition of new content to the well-received free-to-play game, "Warframe." As the latest "The War Within" update recently rolled out, fans can expect a lot of things being added to the game, such as new weapons and more. In addition, it was reported that these same fans can enter a giveaway contest that could earn them the chance to grab some premium hardware fit for avid gamers.

It was previously reported that "Warframe" has received another big update called "The War Within" which just went live not too long ago, University Herald noted. It was stated therein that the continuous support by the game's developers in bringing in new content for the game has resulted in it becoming successful.

It was recently announced that the same update, "The War Within," has already been released for both the Xbox One and PS4 version of "Warframe." As such, fans on these consoles can expect a lot of new content such as new weapons, cinematic quests, gameplay, and more.

Digital Extremes has highlighted these new features via its official website. It was listed therein that fans on both the Xbox One and PS4 version of "Warframe" can expect three new weapons being added.

First off, a new weapon for "Warframe" called Zarr, which is a cannon type of weapon, can be used by players to unleash a onslaught of explosives or one large shot of flak from its huge barrel.

Secondly, the latest update "The War Within" for "Warframe" will feature the Twin Rogga, which has a twin barrel design aimed to be the signature pistols of the Kuva Guardians.

Last but not the least, the Kesheg, which will be featured as another signature weapon of the Kuva Guardians in "Warframe," will have experience the halberd easily slice through waves of enemies.

In other news, it was also reported that fans of the acclaimed free-to-play video game "Warframe" are eligible to join its Prime Gaming Sweepstakes via its official promotional site, Gamasutra learned.

Fans can enter the giveaway contest starting now until Feb. 1 of 2017 by following the instructions laid out by Digital Extremes, which include picking out the platform of their choice and logging in or creating an account to play the game.
