The "Star Wars: Episode VIII" may have its first trailer by Spring 2017 according to Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, although own cast member Adam Driver thinks that there should not be one to further keep the suspense going. Moreover, recent rumors reveal that Yoda might return as a "Force Ghost" after voice actor, Frank Oz, was spotted at Pinewood Studios where the movie is currently filming.

Lucasfilm Kathleen Kennedy was caught on an ambush interview by BBC's Lizo Mazimba who asked when the first trailer for the "Star Wars: Episode VIII" will appear. Kennedy answered that it will be soon after giving "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" some breathing room, indicating that more likely the first trailer will appear on Spring 2017.

The "Star Wars: Episode VIII" trailer could coincide with the 2017 Star Wars Celebration happening in Orlando on April 13 to 16, iDigital Times reported. For now, fans will just have to contend with teaser clips during pre-production like the one below.

"Star Wars: Episode VIII" is set to be released on December 15, 2017, seven months delayed from its previous schedule of May 26, 2017. As to its plot, there is little to go with the official Lucasfilm/Disney plot summary saying that Rey will continue on with "her epic journey with Finn, Poe and Luke Skywalker," Den of Geek has learned.

From what can be surmised with the events that unfolded in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," it is more likely that The First Order will get stronger under Supreme Leader Snoke's reign. Moreover, Luke Skywalker may be seen having a much active role in "Star Wars: Episode VIII" fighting alongside The Resistance.

The "Star Wars: Epsiode VIII" will see the return of the lead cast members even including Harrison Ford and Max Von Snydow, but their roles may be only cameos or in flashback sequences. Benicio del Toro will be one of the newest addition and the actor will play a bad guy, still an unknown villain, but more likely a non-Sith since Kylo Ren and Snorke have filled up that position effectively.

Even more exciting for die-hard "Star Wars" fans is the idea that the diminutive and lovable Yoda might return to the "Star Wars: Episode VIII" allegedly as a Force Ghost. This rumor comes after voice actor Frank Oz was spotted in the Pinewood Studios in the United Kingdom, where the newest "Star Wars" movie is filming.
