Notorious hacker Luca Todesco advised jailbreak users to avoid updating to iOS 10.2 Beta. He reasons that the Beta is watertight in terms of its security and advises those who do not care about jailbreaking can go ahead with their update.
Nevertheless, for those who would want to allow a jailbreak should stick to iOS 10.1.1 for now. There is no assurance if jailbreakers will see a version come out soon. The jailbreak world has been silent and there has been little or no reported activity regarding a jailbreak, only speculations, and rumors.
iOS 10 too tough for Pangu?
Pangu usually releases a Jailbreak Tool for any Apple iOS two to three weeks after the versions release; however, there have been reports that Pangu will only release iOS 10 jailbreak upon the release of iOS 10.2. With the beta out and no word yet from the Chinese hacking group, speculations are flying that Apple's new OS is simply too tough for them to crack open, according to Latin Post.
Rumor has it that Pangu sent a message out to those anticipating for a jailbreak release, that Apple may have won this round. It could be recalled that earlier this year, that Pangu previewed a working jailbreak tool for 1OS 10 that was rooted from the OS' beta version.
iOS 10 Jailbreaking Alternatives
