Ilan is rumored to be the future love interest of Clarke (Eliza Taylor) replacing Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carter), who died in last season.

Rotherberg revealed that the prevailing theme of the last seasons will still be in "The 100" season 4, which is to test just how far Clarke will go to save her people. Clarke will be facing what her father struggled with in the Ark, which is to decide whether to tell the people about the truth or withhold it for fear of chaos, the the Den of Geek has learned.

Clarke has shared what she knows with Bellamy (Bob Morley) in the previous season of "The 100" and the two will do everything they can to save as much people as possible. Bellamy will help Clarke as a way of seeking redemption, after being indirectly involved in killing his sister Octavia's true love, Lincoln (Ricky Whittle). Rumors have it that Octavia may be beset by thoughts of vengeance and may even attempt to murder Bellamy.

Meanwhile, the greatest villain of "The 100" season 4 is none other than Mother Nature herself, who will exact wrath on Earth in the form of radiation leaks, Uproxx reported.
