"Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" will be released next year on PlayStation 4. Naughty Dog also revealed that it will be the biggest story expansion they have made.

According to the official blog of PlayStation, Naughty Dog released a new "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" video, which can be viewed below, with an almost nine minute video of gameplay. It showcased the early parts of the video game in a war-torn city that looks like in India.

The latest "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" video revealed Chloe Frazer, the smooth-talking master thief from "Uncharted 2." She is joined by Nadine Ross, a character that was introduced first as an enemy in the latest "Uncharted 4." They will have to work together to recover the long lost Tusk of Ganesh.

"Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" is a standalone story

According to the official website of Naughty Dog, the game company has confirmed that "Uncharted: the Lost Legacy" will be a standalone story and not just a small expansion from "Uncharted 4." It will highlight all of the best things in the series, from cinematic storytelling to dynamic combat and complex puzzles. They also revealed that this is the biggest story expansion that they have to date and it will be available as a standalone game on retail stores and on digital download.

"Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" available for free on certain conditions

For gamers who have picked up the "Uncharted 4" Digital Deluxe Edition or purchased the Explorer's Pack, they will get the "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" as a download at launch for free. These two versions will only be available until Dec. 13, which is why the developers advised them to purchase "Uncharted 4" and The Lost Legacy right away.
