Android Nougat 7 Features

The new Nougat will add new features to the Android smartphone such as instant apps, battery management options, multiple windows support, file browser improvements, interactive notices, blocking calls from unwanted contact numbers and a lot of substantial improvements. Various smartphone makers are preparing to roll out the new Nougat version.

HTC, Honor And Huawei Smartphones

The HTC A9 is uncertain to get the Nougat update but the HTC 10 is scheduled to get the latest Android OS update on Dec. 16 while Honor 8 smartphones are expected to get the Nougat patch anytime now. Meanwhile, the Huawei P8 is uncertain to get the Nougat update; however, the Huawei Mate 8 and P9 are expected to receive the Android Nougat update at a certain future date.

LG Smartphones

The LG V20 smartphone model came out with a pre-loaded Android Nougat 7.0, while the LG G5 is confirmed to get the Nougat version any time now. However, the LG K7, K10 and V10 are uncertain to get the latest Android version.

Motorola, OnePlus And ZTE Smartphones

Motorala's Moto Z Play, Moto Z Droid and Z Force Droid are currently receiving their Nougat update. Moto G4. however, is not yet certain to receive the Nougat version. OnePlus 3 and 3T will receive their new Nougat version. ZTE Axon 7, however, will only get the new Nougat OS in January 2017.

Samsung And Sony Smartphones

Samsung has rolled out the Android Nougat 7 in a beta program. The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will most certainly get the Nougat update. Other Samsung models like the Note 5, S6, S6 Edge and S7 Active are still uncertain to receive the new Android OS. Sony's Xperia XZ and Xperia X Compact will get Nougat 7 OS soon.
