‘Persona 5’ Release Date: New Launch Date For Europe And North America Confirmed By Altus; Freebies Awaits Gamers
ByThe "Persona 5" was originally set for Valentines 2017 release; however, it was delayed and is now set to release on April 4, 2017. Due to the delayed release, Atlus made sure to make up for it.
Following the recent delay of release, Altus said in a statement that the release of the "Persona 5" in Japan had smashed their expectations and so they decided that they owed their fans the best efforts in making the "Persona 5" their gold standard in localization.
Altus also added that rushing the game is not necessary and so they needed to delay the release yet again.
The "Persona 5" release in Europe and North America will have dual audio options and during the launch, the Japanese voice-over track will be available as free DLC. This is good news to the avid "persona 5" gamers as it was supposed be launched in English language only.
The dual audio will be downloadable for "logistical reasons" said John Hardin of Atlus and reassured gamers that the download on both PS3 and PS4 is free forever.
Hardin also added that it is what they especially wanted to do for the Atlus Faithful, the ones who respects all of the efforts they put into localizing as well as appreciate the English dubs, Engadget reported.
Awaiting gamers will get to experience the action of "Persona 5" first hand as its demo will also be available for play at the 2016 PlayStation Experience and the good thing is, it will be playable in English. The 2016 PlayStation Experience will be held at Anaheim, California on December 3 and 4, IGN reported.
Atlus also announced last month that the English voice cast for the "Persona 5" will include the popular voice actors from "One Punch Man", "Persona 4: Dancing all Night" "Super Smash Bros." and many others.
