Epic Games' free-to-play MOBA "Paragon" will get a major overhaul, which will be released on Dec. 6. A lot about how heroes are controlled and the gameplay will be changed to speed up the game.

According to the latest reports, all of the main problems of the game will be given solutions. "Paragon" will have a better and smaller map, it will have a faster and more-action packed gameplay, every hero will get updates, but it will still be a MOBA, WWG reported.

Faster Gameplay

One of the major problems of "Paragon" is its slow speed. Epic has been teasing about the game's new map "Monolith" since last month. But fans are concerned that without the Travel Mode, the game might be slower.

Epic cleared this matter in a statement saying that the gameplay will be faster. The game will have faster movement speed, attack execution speed, and the use of ability will faster, PC Invasion reported. The overall game lethality will also be improved.

Epic wants players to feel they can move around the map even without Travel Mode, but making sure that there will be one unified speed for the entire game.

Damage, mana, health, and armor changes

How the damage, mana, health, and armor work is also overhauled. This means everything will be different compared to the old game. One major change is how Primary attacks will bring basic damage and the activatable power will now have "Ability" damage. Players will now have unified Power, with the physical and energy damage removed.

Cool Down Reduction is also removed. According to Epic it has minimized most of the game's cooldowns. Cooldowns will now be based on mana usage and not time. Gamers can now choose to buy mana to speed up the activations of their hero's abilities.

Monolith will definitely bring "Paragon" into a whole new level.
