Mi Mix is Xiaomi's latest concept device - a bezel-less phone that takes the tech world by storm after it is able to get ahead of Apple's rumored device, iPhone 8. A recent leak shows a smaller variant of the smartphone, dubbed as Mi Mix Nano but familiar sources said that there won't be any launch of such product.

Xiaomi Mi Mix Nano is rumored to be released next month but internal source buries the hope by stating that the small phone does not exist. Android Headlines reported that the company's Marketing Director, Zang Zhiyuan, claimed that there is no such product.

This is a surprise to the faithful since the Mi Mix Nano leaks have gone viral on the internet - starting from a live photo inside a car to a product description obtained from industry source. Moreover, another leak has even hinted at December release for the smartphone, GSM Arena reported.

Xiaomi Mi Mix Nano rumored specs

Xiaomi Mi Mix Nano is said to sport 5.5-inch screen. It is a lot smaller when compared to the older sibling with 6.4-inch panel.

Apart from the leaked image, there is no word about the technical specs but many reports suggest that the Nano phone will likely rock similar internals - a 4GB RAM and Snapdragon 821 chipset. The optics department might still pair 16 MP and 5 MP cameras but the battery capacity remains unconfirmed.

Mi Mix Nano will make the tech crowds curious about how Xiaomi will design the smaller bezel-less phone. The current Mi Mix has 83.6 percent screen-to-body ratio and if the Nano comes into fruition, we should expect a more compact, elegantly-built, edge-less device.

Could Xiaomi Mi Mix Nano be just a conceptual phone as part of the company's experiment or will there be such product in December? Stay tuned for more updates!
