Although "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" is high on every "Star Wars" fan's list of priorities right now, many are already looking forward to the next release in the franchise and that is "Star Wars: Episode VIII."

According to "Star Wars Episode 8" spoilers, Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker will get a serious upgrade to his powers and Adam Driver's Kylo Ren will sport a new Darth Vader-inspired costume.

Reports suggest that Luke will showcase a new power called Force Vision, which enables him to see the future of a Jedi. There are also rumors that Kylo Ren is going to get a taste of Luke's enhanced powers and abilities. According to a Reddit source, a particular scene will show Kylo Ren and Rey having a conversation that Luke does not agree to. Angered, Luke accidentally blows up the Ahch-To hut using the Force.

Luke Skywalker will have a more substantial role in "Star Wars Episode 8" unlike his last-minute appearance in "Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens," where he only had approximately one minute of screen time. The character is also expected to appear in "Star Wars Episode 9."

As for Kylo Ren, there are speculations that he will wear Darth Vader's old cape in "Star Wars Episode 8." As per Making Star Wars, "According to sources, Kylo Ren is wearing a Darth Vader cape in Star Wars: Episode VIII. The cape is said to be like the one Darth Vader wears in The Empire Strikes Back/Return of the Jedi." The only difference is that Kylo Ren's will not have the same chain clasp. It remains unclear if this cape is exactly the one Darth Vader wore or if Kylo particularly had the robe made to resemble his grandfather's cape.

Aside from the change in his outfit, Kylo Ren will become a much darker character in "Star Wars Episode 8." It's also been said that the eighth movie will have similarities to "Star Wars Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back."

In the meantime, "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" will premiere on Dec. 16, 2016.
