Fans and avid gamers of Sony's PlayStation are well aware of its iconic franchise, "Crash Bandicoot." As such, fans will be delighted to hear that the company has announced a remastered collection of the game, which will be released in 2017. Moreover, it is said that the game will be released for the PlayStation 4.

Since the intial rumors of a re-surging "Crash Bandicoot" game years ago, it was finally announced that the widely-popular video game is being remastered with a release date set in 2017. It was reported that a collection of "Crash Bandicoot" games will be remastered and launched in 2017, Gamerant has learned.

It mentioned that Sony announced the breaking news during the E3 2016 presentation, where it went into detail saying that the remastered collection will include the trilogy "Crash Bandicoot," "Cortex Strikes Back," and "Warped." It was further mentioned that the collection will be exclusive for the PS4.

As such, it was recently reported that exact release date for the PS4 "Crash Bandicoot" remastered collection was rumored to have been disclosed over the internet, and that fans can expect Sony to launch the collection on Feb. 28, 2017, Fabnewz reported.

It was further suggested by the same publication that if the leaked release date, courtesy of Zilliongames (a Brazilian retailer website), is true then fans can expect the game to be launched alongside the supposed box art of the game.

Moreover, it was also reported that the voice actor behind the iconic protagonist of "Crash Bandicoot," Jess Harnell, will also be returning lend his voice yet again, Daily Star reported.

Furthermore, it was also announced during the E3 2016 presentation that "Skylanders Imaginators" will also be featuring the main character of "Crash Bandicoot."

With all these said, it seems that fans of the "Crash Bandicoot" franchise are in for a treat this coming 2017.
