Motorola's soon-to-be-launched handset, Moto M, has been spotted on the AnTuTu benchmark website, with a model number XT1662. Now, the specs of the said smartphone are viewed online, which includes a bigger resolution and a rumored Helio 15 chipset octa-core processor.

As per the AnTuTu listing reported by GSMArena, the Moto M will sport a 5.5-inch display with full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution, geared towards a 2.5D curved screen with a negligible bezel. On the previous listing, the device is suspected to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor along with Mali T860 GPU.

However, new sources claim that the Lenovo-owned company might have upgraded the processor to the latest MediaTek Helio P15, GizmoTimes has learned. The newer processor comes with a higher clock speed and offers an overall 10 percent performance improvement, which should advance Moto M as the first smartphone to equip Helio 15 chipset.

The new processor consists of eight ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at a maximum frequency of 2.2 GHz. The graphics are managed by a dual-core Mali T860 GPU running at 800 MHz.

As per the device's memory, it will be supported by 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage.

In terms of optics, the AnTuTu listing suggests that the Moto M smartphone will pack a 16-megapixel autofocus rear camera and an 8-megapixel camera at the front for selfies. The handset will also integrate a fingerprint scanner placed on the back case, and a non-removable battery capacity of 3,000 mAh.

Furthermore, the Motorola handset is expected to run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with the Android 7 Nougat update arriving shortly. The device's Chinese variant will come with the pre-loaded Microsoft apps such as Skype, OneDrive, and Microsoft Office.

There are some previous rumors suggesting that the company will launch the Moto M in two different models, one that will be meant for the Chinese market, while the second one will be released in other Asian countries.

Through the leaked listing, fans should still wait for the company's official announcement for any confirmation on the Moto M's specs. According to rumors, the smartphone is expected to be priced at 1,999 Yuan or $295.
