New Name And Updated Specs?
Apple will reportedly replace the name iPad Pro 2 to simply "new iPad Pro." The Cupertino-based company is presumably using a new naming convention to prevent confusion among products. Normally, new iPads are released every year and the iPad Pro 2 will reportedly have the 9.7" and 12.9" models. However, Apple products analyst Ming Chi Kuo believed that a third iPad Pro 2 size will be included, the 10.5", according to Macworld. The medium sized tablet is reportedly a favorite among business people, teachers, students as well as the average users.
Improved iOS Support For Pencil Stylus?
There are rumors that Apple will improve its iOS support for the Apple Pencil stylus. Industry observer doubt if it could be done with the iOS 10. But it's possible for the upcoming iOS 11. Fortunately, the Pencil Stylus could be used in various apps, according to pcadvisor.
The three upcoming iPad Pro 2 models should have updated screens that can be zoomed, panned and scrolled more smoothly than the current models. There are talks that the display for the iPad Pro 2 will be replaced with flexible AMOLED but that will possibly happen two years from now. The internal storage is expected to be the same as the current model which is 256GB.
For the processor, it is speculated that the iPad Pro 2 will have A10X. The upcoming iPad Pro 2 is expected to have better dual cameras. The rear iSight camera will have 12MP equipped with Light Photos and able to record 4K videos while the front HD 5MP FaceTime includes a Retina Flash
Rumored Retail Price
The iPad Pro 2 with an internal storage of 32GB may be sold for $800, 128GB for $800 and 256GB for $1100. The retail price may also vary if these models are bought from a telephone service carrier.
