MacBook Pro 2017 with Intel Cannon Lake

It seems like the previously rumored Intel Kaby Lake processor will not make it to the future MacBook Pro, as Apple is reported to be waiting for the release of Intel Cannon Lake chipsets. According to 9 to 5 Mac, MacBook Pro 2017 will be supporting 32GB RAM under the powerful new Intel chipsets.

Low power consumption and longer battery life is the primary goal of Apple for MacBook Pro 2017. For this reason, Cannon Lake processor suits best because the said LPDDR 4 RAM processor consumes less power than the existing ones at 15 percent to 25 percent.

However, Apple has another plan if in case Intel will come late in releasing the Canonlake processors. As added by the same publication, Coffee Lake is the second best option for Apple, which supports a 16GB of RAM instead.

MacBook Pro 2017 Price Drop

There is an anticipated price drop of the 32GB variant of MacBook Pro 2017 models, which is believed to gravitate and entice more consumers, not only from the high-end market class but also to the lower-class.

MacBook Pro 2016 models have a price tag of $1,799, which is said to be dropping down to unknown rate yet. According to Mac World, many consumers are waiting for the upcoming OLED-based MacBook Pro 2017 equipped with USB-C ports that will eventually make the MacBook Pro 2016 a year older.
