LG and HTC are known for rolling out system updates faster than their competitors. For this reason, LG and HTC handsets will run Android 7.0 Nougat in November, earlier than Sony and Motorola which are said to be receiving the updates in December. See the list of eligible LG and HTC devices here!

Android 7.0 Nougat to LG Handsets

The first smartphone to come out with Android 7.0 Nougat pre-installed is the LGV20. The phone that was launched in September 2016 features an IPS Quantum Display coupled with a secondary display packed in a screen size of 5.7-inch and powered by a quad-core Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820, according to Gadgets NDTV.

On the other hand, LG G5, LG V10 and LG G3 are among the LG eligible handsets to receive Android .0 Nougat updates. However, the rollout will come in phasing with LG G5 the first one to receive in November 2016 followed by LG G3 and LG V10 scheduled in February 2017 and March 2017, respectively.

Android 7.0 Nougat to HTC Handsets

As the newest mobile flagship, HTC 10 will have Android 7.0 Nougat pre-installed upon purchase according to Neurogadget. On the other hand, there are three HTC handsets that are eligible to receive Google's latest Android update - HTC One M10, HTC One M9 and HTC One A9.

The three mentioned HTC handsets are said to be receiving Android 7.0 Nougat in October but it was proven untrue since the month has already passed and no upgrade was done. For this reason, rumors suggesting that HTC One M10, HTC One M9 and HTC One A9 will run the latest version of android in November or December, before the holiday season kicks in.

Android 7.0 Nougat to Sony and Motorola Handsets

Both Sony and Motorola have published on respective websites the eligible devices that will receive Android 7.0 Nougat updates. It has been reported that Google's latest Android version will start rolling out officially to qualified smartphones in December 2016.
