Sombra Official Artwork Teaser
A Sombra artwork was discovered recently at the Blizzard online store. The art cover was immediately removed, but luckily, some alert fans got a screenshot and spread through various online forums such as Reddit and Imgur.
It could easily be dismissed as fake since the drawing bear the signature of John Polidora. For those who don't know him, Palidora is one of Blizzard's concept and character design artist. This recent image also virtually confirms the first leaked image of Sombra. Fans are hoping that Blizzard will provide more details since Mexico is celebrating the Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead).
Sombra - Who Is She?
Sombra is known as a member of the Mexican-based Los Muertos Gang and a computer hacker as well. She is known to have some connections with the TALON organization and Reaper. The latest hacked emails revealed that she is involved in a plot to overthrow the present rulers of her native Mexico, along with the corrupt mega corporation Lumerico, according to the official Blizzard site. The first image showed her with a weapon that seems to look like an MP7. However, there is no official word yet on what kinds of weapons she will bring in the "Overwatch" matches.
Sombra - Is ARG Nearly Over?
Blizzard launched the Sombra ARG in order to engage "Overwatch" players with the games upcoming character; however, many of the ARG investigators thought that Sombra will appear once they have unlocked all the puzzles and clues given out by the developer.
Pretty soon, many of the Sombra investigators were already getting impatient with the ARG. Finally, some "Overwatch" players were able to take a snapshot of an alleged image of Sombra and spread it online, but the developer did not comment on the image leak. It turns out Blizzard has scheduled the Sombra reveal for the 2016 Blizzcon event that will start on Nov. 4.
