PlayStation 4 Pro News & Update: Sony Unveils PS4 Pro Controllers, Giving Competitive And Pro Players Additional Option [VIDEO]
BySony has unveiled two newly licensed PlayStation 4 Pro controllers dubbed as Razer Raiju and Nacon Revolution. The two new PS4 Pro controllers will be up for grabs later this year to the Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe region.
Even though the two new PS4 Pro controllers will be available before 2016 ends, the prices of the upcoming Pro controllers have not been announced yet by Sony.
Furthermore, on the PlayStation blog, Sony's Andrew Mason wrote in a post that in giving their competitive and pro players additional option, they invited Razer and Nacon to use their knowledge and expertise in developing eSports peripherals to design two distinctive pro controllers for PlayStation 4 Pro. Sony's Andrew Mason also stated that they have been able to help optimize each controller for PS4, wherein incorporating innovative Dualshock 4 controls and ensuring video gamers will be delighted with a plug-and-play experience with any model of PlayStation 4.
Even so, the Razer Raiju, which is designed for use in eSports tournaments, has the latest controller customization and ergonomics. The Razer Raiju feature two extra bumpers, a built-in control panel on the front, two extra detachable triggers, plus trigger-stop switches and hair trigger mode for ultra-fast trigger responses. Other features of Razer Raiju include a 3.5mm headset jack and dedicated headset volume, mic mute controls, a support for two custom profiles, and a detachable analog stick rubber caps, Euro Gamer has learned.
The Nacon Revolution, on the other hand, was developed for eSports gamers in collaboration with pro video gamers. The Nacon Revolution PS4 Pro controller offers 46-degree amplitude dual analogue sticks.
This PS4 Pro controller has an eight-way directional pad, four extra shortcut buttons, and support for four custom profiles. The Nacon Revolution PS4 Pro controller also has two internal compartments along with six additional weights.
