Even though Apple Inc. has remained silent about the iPad Mini 5, the refreshed version of the iPad Mini is still highly anticipated by tech fans. Tech enthusiasts believe that the iPad Mini 5 might be reclassified and will be added to the iPad Pro 2 lineup.

Speculations have been springing up one after the other that the iPad Mini 5 will have an entire new look if it is compared to iPad mini 4, which was totally different from iPad Mini 3. iPad Mini 5 is said to be slimmed down, and will add various features, Counsel & Heal has learned.

Anyway, among the rumored features of the iPad Mini 5 include a thinner overall mold, an A10 chipset, 2 gigabyte of RAM, and internal storage starting at 16gigabyte, a 64 and/or 128 gigabyte options are also expected to be offered.

With regards to the iPad Mini 5's potential thin mold, the debate starts on the 3.5 mm, in which it can be seen how the Cupertino based tech company took it out to make the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus thinner, according to Mashable.

Other features worth mentioning for the iPad Mini 5 include an 8 megapixel main camera, 1.2 megapixel front-facing shooter and with a possibility that the device will be packed with iOS 11.

While the battery unit of iPad Mini 5 may have a lower capacity compared to the 5,124 mAh in the iPad Mini 4, wherein, a superior battery technology means the upcoming device will be able to match its predecessor's real-world battery performance.

Even so, despite of these rumors, tech fans are still hoping that the tech giant will launch an iPad Mini 5 on March 2017 together with other iPad models. Reports also banging up the internet that there's a possibility of the repackaged iPad Mini 5 will be the smallest version of the iPad Pro series.
