Samsung is yet to spell out what caused the explosions of Galaxy Note 7, but the tech company is already promoting the upcoming Galaxy S8. In which, the tech giant teased some of the features of the forthcoming flagship, such as its design, camera, and artificial intelligence (AI).

Interestingly, the news regarding Galaxy S8, which won't be unveiled until sometime next year, arrived on the same day when Apple Inc. was set to introduce its new line of MacBook Pro models. Even so, the South Korean tech company also reported a 96 percent fall off in quarterly mobile operating profit, with that, the company decided to mention the Galaxy S8 in an effort to shift focus a bit, according to BGR.

Samsung's Vice President for Mobile Communications, Lee Kyeong-tae, made known a few features that will be included in the Galaxy S8. Lee stated that Galaxy S8 would have an improved camera, a slick design, as well as an advanced artificial-intelligence service. Lee also mentioned that they are expecting some difficulties until the first quarter of 2017, however, they will achieve a business turnaround with the release of their new flagship smartphone, The Wall Street Journal reported.

That being the case, there are other rumors about the Galaxy S8 that are floating around and claims that Samsung's upcoming flagship will come along with a full-screen 4K display, 6 gigabyte of RAM, and a dual camera. Reports also claim that if a person live in South Korea and purchased the Note 7, and then replaced it for the Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge, that person will be able to get the Galaxy S8 for a highly discounted price.

Nevertheless, the South Korean tech monster is anticipated to officially unveil the Galaxy S8 during the Mobile World Congress trade show in late February next year, and followed by a launch in March, Android Authority reported.
