Microsoft announced an event on October 26 but it does not inform the public, which Surface products could be revealed along with Windows 10 updates. Here's the newest information about the upcoming Surface Book 2, Surface Pro 5 and Surface Phone!

Surface Book 2 release date, specs

What the rants know for sure, is that Microsoft will launch AIO Surface PC that will take on iMac during the hardware event. However, the second generation of Surface Book may not appear in the show but could have a 2017 release date instead, ZDnet reported.

Numerous rumors hint to the Intel Kaby Lake processor that causes the delay. The powerful chip is rumored to be placed inside Macbook Pro 2016, may also be shipped with Surface Book 2. Other speculations on the specs include VR-ready features, 4K display and improved hinge.

Surface Pro 5 release date, specs

Another most-anticipated device is the Microsoft Surface Pro 5. Many speculations hint a no show on October 26 as the event is expected to showcase new mouse and keyboard, Forbes reported. If the rumors are to be believed, the fans should expect its launch together with the Surface Book 2 in early 2017.

There are many reports that suggest the Kaby Lake processor powering Surface Pro 5. Mobipicker cited a Chinese source that there will be 2K and 4K variants of the upcoming Surface Pro. However, the 4K may only come with paid-for feature whilst the 2K display is a standard model, KitGuru reported.

Microsoft is highly likely to fix the battery problem that appears on Surface Pro 4. Hence, the upcoming Surface Pro 5 will have longer, more-efficient battery along with spacious 16 GB of RAM.

Surface Phone release date, specs

There could be three variants of Surface Phone as a speculative claim from Trusted Reviews suggests. Microsoft could categorize the phones based on the RAM (3GB - 6GB - 8 GB). The phone is rumored to sport 5.7 inch Quad HD display and a Carl Zeiss' 20 MP camera.

Just like the other two, the Surface Phone may be released in 2017. Microsoft is likely to skip the introduction and shows off the laptops from third-party companies instead.
