"Gears of War 4" has officially been released on Oct. 11, and there were already feedback from players about the game's credit system.
Developers Update on "Gears of War 4" Credit System
"Gears of War 4" developer The Coalition announced some changes in the credit system and acquisition of gear packs in the game. They were able to determine that Credits are not being earned fast enough. It is at this stage that the developer decided to update the game's credit system.
The credit system update will now allow "Gears of War" players to acquire some items such as Elite Packs for only 3,500 credits from its original price of 4,000. Meanwhile, versus multiplayers who have completed their match will receive more credits.
It does not matter if the players won or lost the match, as the game will still provide match bonus. However, the winners will receive more XP points and higher credit payout, IGN reported.
"Gears of War 4" Developer Admits Glitch
The Coalition admits that there is a glitch in the game. It's not a major glitch but not an easy to ignore either. Players will see that the Match Bonus will reflect a Zero Credit amount even if this is not the case. The developer assures players that they will continue to earn credit and XP no matter what the indicators says. To be sure, players can look at their Credit Wallet from the main menu. The developer also promised to fix the bug via future update.
"Gears of War 4" Card Creation System
The Coalition also encouraged players to use the Card Creation system in the game. The card is essentially destroyed and converted to Scrap to create a better Card. "Gears of War 4" is available for the Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. A promo video could be watched here.
