The BMW Vision Motorrad Next 100 is said to be the motorcycle for superheroes of the future. BMW says the motorcycle is so safe that the rider doesn't even need a helmet or protective clothing while riding it on the road.

The German automaker unveiled the BMW Vision Motorrad Next 100 in Los Angeles, which is a blockbuster bike that truly has a radical form and function. The body of BMW Vision Motorrad Next 100 is culled from a slinky carbon fiber shell that configures a menacing swoosh, and if a person turns the handlebars, it redirects the motorcycle, The Verge reported.

The BMW Vision Motorrad Next 100 boasts zero carbon emissions, has a self-balancing system and has incorporated driver assistance. The camera-based sensor technology of the motorcycle makes it essentially the anti-crash bike. One feature of this sensor technology is dubbed as the Visor, which is a set of spectacles that are controlled by means of eye movements.

With the Flexframe feature of BMW Vision Motorrad Next 100, the motorcycle has no suspension, no springs, no swing arm and no shock absorbers. However, the motorcycle's wheels will absorb the bumps, according to Extreme Tech.

Head of Design at BMW Motorrad, Edgar Heinrich, stated that the BMW Motorrad VISION NEXT 100 embodies the vision of the BMW Group of biking in a connected world, which is an analog experience in a digital age. Motorcycling is about escaping from life's daily routine, the moment a rider straddle their bike, that person is absolutely free, Yahoo has learned.

Heinrich explains that when they develop a motorcycle, they tend to think 5 to 10 years in advance; however, on this occasion, they looked much further ahead and found the experience exciting. Heinrich firmly believes that the BMW Motorrad VISION NEXT 100 sets out a clear future scenario for the brand.
